Video Visitation
The Henderson County Detention Center does not offer on-site visitation for family and friends. All family and friend visits are conducted remotely through the NCIC video visitation system using a cell phone, tablet, or computer.
Getting Started
Before scheduling a visit, visitors must:
Visitors must complete the registration and approval process before they can schedule a visit.
Remote Visitation
Children under the age of 16 do not have to be on the inmate's approved visitation list; however, they must participate in the visit with an approved adult.
Visitation Rules
Visitors are expected to conduct themselves in a courteous and respectful manner and must follow all visitation rules and staff directions.
The following are prohibited during video visitation and may result in the immediate termination of the visit and/or suspension or termination of visitation privileges:
Visitors are responsible for all individuals and activities visible or audible during their video visit. Visitors should ensure that no prohibited items, activities, or individuals are present within the camera's view.
Serious or repeated violations may be referred to the Jail Administrator for review and a final determination regarding future visitation privileges. Violations involving suspected illegal activity may also be referred to law enforcement.
Attorney Visits
Attorney visits are conducted separately in accordance with facility policies and applicable requirements.

Clergy Visits
Due to ongoing jail business and daily facility operations, members of the clergy must call at least 24 hours in advance to request and schedule an approved visitation time.
